水地比（すいちひ）は坎上・坤下で水の下に地がある卦の形。水が土にしみ入り、土は水の潤す力によって草木を成長させることができます。
比とは水と土のように人と人とが親しみ合い、助け合うこと。人と人とが親しみ合うことは吉ですが、相手が本当に親しむべき人なのは慎重に検討し、他の人とも相談します。さらに、人を思いやる仁の徳、永く久しく変わることのない永の徳、正しい道を固く守る貞の徳、この三つの徳を備えて相手と親しむときには咎められる過失はありません。
リーダーがこれらの徳を備えて人々と親しもうとしている時は、人々は大急ぎで参集し、親密に和合すべきです。ぐずぐず遅れて来る人は凶で、禍を得ることとなります。
Suichihi is the hexagram formed by the combination of water and earth, with water positioned above the earth. Water seeps into the soil, and the soil, in turn, nourishes plants and trees through the moisture provided by the water.
It refers to the relationship between people, akin to the interaction between water and soil, representing mutual affection and assistance. While it is auspicious for people to form close bonds, one should carefully consider whether the person is truly someone to befriend, and consult with others. Additionally, there is no fault when one forms such bonds while embodying the following three virtues: the virtue of benevolence, which involves caring for others; the virtue of enduring strength, which symbolizes enduring, unwavering qualities; and the virtue of chastity, which involves firmly adhering to the right path.
When a leader strives to build bonds with others while embodying these virtues, they should eagerly gather and unite in harmony. Those who arrive late will meet with misfortune.
彖（たん）の辞
比吉。原筮元永貞。无咎。不寧方来。後夫凶。
比（ひ）は吉（きつ）。原筮（げんぜい）して元永（げんえい）貞（てい）なれば、咎（とが）无（な）し。寧（やす）んぜずして方（あまね）く来（きた）る。後（おく）るる夫（ふ）は凶（きょう）。
