子曰、吾未見好德如好色者也。
子（し）曰（いわ）く、吾（われ）未（いま）だ徳（とく）を好（この）むこと色（いろ）を好（この）むが如（ごと）くなる者（もの）を見（み）ざるなり。
現代語訳
先生はこのようにおっしゃった。私はまだ、美しい女性を好むように徳を好む者をみたことがない。

- 色（いろ）：美しい色。女性の美しい顔かたち。男女間の情欲。
